Prior to establishing SAOT Consultants Judy Ross was a founding partner of Insite Injury Management Group and had previously established Workplace Wellness, an OT/Physiotherapy practice.

For approximately 8 years Judy worked in a clinical setting at Suzanne Caragianis and Associates, a hand and upper limb injuries clinic. During this time she gained extensive experience in the assessment and management of hand and arm traumatic and overuse injuries. Orthopaedic and Plastic surgery rehabilitation as well as general hospital and paediatric work experience was gained when at Industrial Rehabilitation Service, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Judy has extensive experience and a strong interest in; workstation assessment, seating, office ergonomics, upper limb injuries, assessment and management of occupational injuries, office ergonomics training.

Judy currently works part-time as ergonomic consultant to Back Centre and co-ordinates their insturctional and educational publications as well as their client education and training.

Jo Scholz has predominantly worked in the fields of occupational health, injury management and disability. She has worked as a case manager at WorkCover, as a Manual Handling and Injury Prevention Consultant at a major South Australian public hospital and at Disability Services SA providing services to clients with severe and multiple disabilities.

She has trained staff and carers in safe Manual Handling and Work Practices and was involved in the development and implementation of a “No Lift Policy” to reduce injuries from client/patient handling. She also worked at a London private hospital providing assessments and therapy to clients with a range of neurological conditions.
